Three-toed

After my walk in the woods I went to the backyard of the house, down to the stream. There in the dusk I heard something knocking on a dead birch tree. After a while I discovered that it was a Three-toed Woodpecker, of course I had the 12-60 on the camera but I tried some pictures anyway. Went to the house to switch to the 50-200 but when I got back my “usual” woodpecker had taken the place…
