This morning when I went out the door Truls was standing there and purred! During the night, he managed to break out through the blocked cat flap and took a trip on his own. He followed me in and started eating and after a tour in the meadow he entered his favourite spot on a chair in the garden. Did not know what to think because he seemed pretty bad in the evening and we had taken the decision that it probably was the end of the road. During the day, I could not think of anything but how to do now …
In the afternoon, he lay on the stairs, but jumped up to meet me when I came with the car. We decided to at least go to the animal hospital and hear with them. Could almost not believe it when the vet after examination and checking the blood pressure found that he could hang with us for a while longer 😉
But he’s 22 years so we have to take it day by day. I’m glad for every day he is with us and can walk around as he want here. I’m only afraid to have to go through what I felt in the last five days again. Been through the same thing four years ago, with his buddy Tusse.
