On Monday when I came home from work I found Truls out in the backyard. He was laying on the side, very still. When I sat down by his side he moaned a little and I took him up and held him for a long time. Mentally he was ok and he began to purr a little after a while. But he had no balance in his body. Took a couple of steps but could fall both forwards and backwards. During the evening and night there was no improvement. So yesterday we had to say goodbye to our old friend Truls. In a couple of month’s he would have reached the age of 23. Feels so horrible empty now here without him around. He was a major part of my life. But I can feel that he is happy now when he can jump around in the meadows in cat heaven where the weather is warm and nice and the sun always shines. I know he is waiting for me…
Now I have to pull myself together and pack for a trip to Germany. It will be in the sign of photography and I hope that I will be able to enjoy some of the time in Lünen. I might post a report from there.
My book “Skogsminnen” have also been delivered to most of you who made a pre-order. I hope it meet the expectations 😉
Early next week I will deposit the money to Naturskyddsföreningens work to save our forests.
Here is one of the first pictures of Truls, 2002 I believe. Here he is 12 years old.
