Threatened forest (Owl mountain, Säter, Sweden)

Last week I was told that the forest that I use to take many of my pictures in, or just relax from all thoughts and gather power to meet a new day will be clear cut. If nothing happens very soon Karl Hedin will start to reap down the forest. Biologists have been here and they found several redlisted species in a little while, indicator species of insects, traces from three toed woodpecker and other things. If we are very lucky the municipality will make this area a nature reserve, if not the woods you can see in the pictures below will soon be history.
