A day off in the middle of the week

I get frustrated and restless when I’m off, but don’t have the energy or are able to make plans to take me out into the nature.
I felt exactly so yesterday morning. Woke up early but did not have the energy to get out. Later in the day it felt better. I pulled myself together and went for a walk in my local woods, Owl mountain. It was a long time since last time and it was really nice. I did only bring my macro for the walk. There is a varied terrain with both broad-leaved forest, old mixed forest and then clearings of course. Besides wood anemones in quantity I also found flowering coltsfoot and liverleaf along my trail. But what caught my interest this time was the wood sorrel that grew on my “hobgoblin stone”. I got some pictures of this beautiful plant.

Towards the evening I packed down my camera stuff and made a turn to the north. Korsån, the Grundsjö road, Jägarstugan, Kungsberg and on the back roads up to Svartnäs. I took the high road over Svärdsjö back home again. A little trip, 170 km’s mostly on small forest roads. Did not see much of the inhabitants of the woods, I think a female capercaillie shortly after the start was all. Still it was a nice and peacefull ride through the woodlands.
