Uvberget again, or what is the term “natural values” worth. A couple of years ago I discovered that a beautiful forest on Uvberget would be cut down. But people from the municipality did an inventory of the forest and found several key species. It ended with that they intended to make a nature reserv of the area. Here I wrote about the situation (only in Swedish, but look at the pictures).
Yesterday morning I went for a walk up the mountain and when I came to the area for the intended reserv most of the forest where gone. The harvester was still left there so I guess there will be even less trees left.
We will never get the same forest back again.
I will come back here when I know the reason for not making a nature reserv. But Karl Hedin is the owner of the land and I know his attitude to the nature, nature conservation and biodiversity. That man is one of few people that I really dislike.
